Winsor & Newton Professional Thin Edge Canvas is made from the finest-grade cloth. The hand-stretched 480gsm premium Indian Canvas gives outstanding tension with expertly tailored corners. It's the perfect choice for artists at every level.

These canvases come primed with a pigment rich gesso primer. They are acid-free with archival quality and are beautifully responsive to your brushstroke. The superior, balanced absorbency and canvas tooth provide excellent adhesion and uncompromised colour vitality.

The Winsor & Newton Thick Edge Canvases have professionally constructed frames, crafted from kiln-dried, heavy-duty solid pine stretcher bars that have excellent warp-resistance.

Canvases 10" x 10" and larger include an innovative stretching device exclusive to Winsor & Newton (Pro-Stretcher). This strong and compact re-stretching device allows artists to create the perfect canvas tension depending on their painting style.

Winsor & Newton Professional Thick Edge Canvases are 3/4" (19mm) thick, back-stapled with folded, uncut corners and extra cloth if required. Included as well is a label for recording key artwork details.

These canvases are suitable for use with oil or acrylic paint.
